OUR STORY

HOW WE MET

Hallie and Zach's story began on the dating app Hinge, where they first connected. Coincidentally, their initial in-person encounter took place at a local Dallas pub. They hit it off from the second they met!

THE FIRST DATE

In April of 2022, Hallie and Zach had their first date at an Easter church service in Dallas, Texas. Later that day, Zach asked if he could take Hallie and her dog, Remi, to the dog park. Hallie and Zach continued to see each other everyday for a week straight until Zach left for his trip, on a cruise (who is surprised here). The rest is history!

THE PROPOSAL

Zach proposed to Hallie on Lake Como outside of The Villa del Balbianello on August 15th, 2023. During their trip, the two visited the Amalfi Coast, Lake Como, and Grindelwald, Switzerland. On the morning of the proposal, Zach arranged for a private boat tour of Lake Como where their photographer posed as a fake tourist alongside the boat captain. After stopping outside of the Villa del Balbianello, Zach popped the question while receiving a round of applause from surrounding boats. Afterwards, the two shared a special afternoon of photos and sightseeing while walking the grounds of The Villa.
